cFocus Software is seeking a Content Editor/Strategist to join a Drupal/SharePoint program located in Bethesda, MD. This position requires Active Public Trust Clearance.

- 5+ years total of Drupal development experience
- 2+ years in Drupal 8, ideally in an Acquia cloud environment.
- Strong experience with PHP, HTML5, Sass, and JavaScript, and their application to Drupal.
- Strong experience with cross browser/device responsive design development.
- Experience with Git.
- Extended experience configuring existing Drupal modules and theming for customization.
- Experience in US Web Design System (USWDS).
- Experience setting up various content types, views, and menu structures with taxonomy.
- Experience implementing search functions with Solr.
- Experience configuring Single Sign-On using SimpleSaml.
- Experience in developing custom modules for business needs.
- Experience consulting on module choice and giving sound recommendations.
- Experience with DrupalVM, Acquia BLT, and virtual machine development environments.
- Experience with custom theming and providing theme consultation.
- Experience with Pattern Lab.
- Knowledge of best practices and expertise guiding a Drupal development team.
- Experience working with APIs, integrating with external web services (REST, XML, JSON).
- Experience with web-based graphics, responsive design, accessibility and 508 compliance.
- Ability to present/demonstrate product or ideas to a group of people.
- Ability to estimate level of effort for provided requirements.
- Adhere to quality control/assurance standards.
- Experience writing in plain language.
- Experience in content creation, editing, proofreading, content layout, and audience engagement measurement concepts.
- Experience using Visual Studio Code
- Develop and maintain custom Drupal themes using CSS/Sass, JavaScript, and Twig.
- Create wireframes, website/application mockups, and conduct content audits.
- Manage major Drupal core upgrades and ensure compliance with US Web Design System (USWDS) standards.
- Implement and oversee content strategies across platforms to ensure alignment with NIH’s communication goals.
- Provide expert-level support in developing and enhancing SharePoint and Power Platform solutions, ensuring integration with existing NIH systems.
- Setup and run CI/CD code deployments to Acquia and GitHub using Github Actions and other automated tools.
- Remediate Section 508/WCAG 2.0 accessibility issues.
- Manage major Drupal core upgrades, including work on core and contributed module patches.
- Implement USWDS (U.S. Web Design System) into Drupal site themes and other standalone sites.
- Write documentation for various site development processes and tasks.
- Research potential technology options for different use cases.
- Help remediate technical issues related to Drupal.
- Consult the Drupal project team to outline the major implementation process and tasks.
- Provide technical guidance to the Drupal project team during site development.
- Interact with Drupal project team and stakeholders to understand the design and functional requirements.
- Interact with Acquia to ensure the hosting environments are configured according to the requirements.
- Perform activities and documentation as applicable in accordance with methodologies employed at HR SAID.
